We have an exciting opportunity to join our award winning Talent Acquisition Team at Northumberland County Council. This role adds to our long-term vision of Acquisition within the council, and we are looking for an individual with a key passion for delivering excellent service to candidates and internal stakeholders. The role will allow you to make a positive impact on the recruitment process and to build our reputation as a top employer.We want every candidate, irrespective of being successful or not, to have a positive experience from the moment they apply. The role covers the recruitment process from pre-employment checks to issuing contract documentation and supporting the candidate onboarding process. We see this as a vital role in the candidate journey, to ensure the person is kept informed and updated at all stages and to facilitate a seamless handover to the new line manager.Our successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You will be self-motivated and able to manage your own workload in a range of environments and we are looking for someone with a background in recruitment and with administration experience. Knowledge of working with an ATS would be a plus. We pride ourselves on being passionate about recruitment and are we are looking to find someone who shares our vision and values.
