Are you a hands-on individual with good DIY skills who loves to fix, clean, build and paint? An exciting opportunity has arisen within our school for an experienced caretaker to join our friendly team to manage the security, safety and cleanliness of our unique school building. This is a permanent full-time position, working 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday with split shifts). However, we would welcome discussions on part-time or job share. When successful, you will have the key role as Caretaker alongside managing a small group of experienced cleaners within the school, therefore, you must have a proactive attitude to work and be able to prioritise tasks, completing them to a high standard. You will need basic Mathematics and English skills and the ability to demonstrate maintenance and DIY skills. Previous caretaking or supervisory experience in a comparable environment would be desirable. Visits to the school are welcomed, and can be organised by contacting the school office [0191 237 1239].
