Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Prospect Hospice for a learning and development administrator to take charge of all our learning and development-related administration processes.

With the opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development of a learning culture across the entire organisation, you will create and maintain efficient processes for the scheduling, monitoring and management of workforce development activities. You will also administer all aspects of our portfolio of external training provision.

Hours: 25 per week (ideally 9 am - 2.30 pm Monday to Friday - although there may be some flexibility on this for the right candidate).

What is the role?

The learning and development administrator will provide flexible and pro-active support for the smooth management of learning provision within the hospice, as well as servicing our growing income generation activities through the external marketing of specialist training courses. Key responsibilities will include working with team leaders to schedule training; maintenance and reporting of training records; and management of our online training system.

With personal values that align with ours, you will be organised, methodical, have excellent attention to detail, be flexible and able to balance competing priorities. Excellent communication skills are key, as well as the ability to handle multiple processes in an organised manner. Strong IT and MSOffice skills, particularly MSExcel are essential. You will be as passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience as we are.

Candidates will ideally have previous experience in either HR, training or a learning and development administration role.
