  • Promoting the functionality to data 'self-serve', by supporting the design and optimisation of data pipelines and development of easy to navigate PowerBI reports.
  • Providing training and support on PowerBI tools and reports to encourage successful adoption and empower the business to create their own reports and visualisations.
  • Improving processes and automate processes where possible, by innovating and experimenting with data.
  • Employing data science techniques, including statistical modelling and advanced analytics, to solve complex business challenges where appropriate.
  • Adopting agile methodologies to manage development activities within your delivery area and ensure these are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring team outputs and products are tested to the appropriate quality level and where possible create automated and repeatable tests, fostering consistent ways of working and continuous improvement.

The skills you'll be sharing with the team:

  • Hands on experience in manipulating and analysing large and complex data to solve business problems.
  • Competent at developing optimised and easy to navigate dashboards and reports using BI technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, Looker or other data visualisation platforms.
  • Knowledge of creating Tabular Models and using DAX in either SSAS, Power BI or Power Pivot.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and navigating SQL databases.
  • Awareness of agile techniques and processes.
