As our Technical Product Manager, you'll drive the successful delivery of innovative and high-quality technical products specifically within the operations and offline team, driving the technical delivery to enable new stores, and continuous improvement within the store as well as enabling our integration platform and expanding our partnership and marketplace capabilities. Leveraging a deep understanding of technology and market trends, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and prioritisation with business goals and customer needs. Taking accountability for full life cycle management, Start-up - Grow - Enterprise - Decommission.

This is offered as a full-time permanent role and can be based remotely within the UK, with occasional travel to our Cornwall head offices as needed.

You must be resident in the UK. Please note we are not able to provide visa sponsorship.

You'll help us by:

Delivery Management

Coordination and prioritisation of technology initiatives in conjunction with business leads. Ensuring the Offline and Operations delivery teams are focused on aligned business value and that the teams are set up for success.

Ensuring and embedding Agile delivery practices, focusing on business value delivery and driving the teams to continuous improvement.

Planning and coordination across the team to ensure a single agile portfolio based on approved backlog items to ensure effective communicated pipelines.

Stakeholder Management

Working with business leads to work towards an understood prioritised pipeline that provides business value working within the confines of budget and resources.

Managing business priorities to ensure that your teams have a clear vision, product plan and focus on delivery.

Understand roadmaps within your remit and work with the business to understand commercial and budget impacts.

Ownership of budgets and financial forecasts for planned initiatives, and the management of third parties to achieve implementation.

Work across all technology teams to ensure aligned cross utilisation of resources to ensure efficient management and alignment across the full technology portfolio.

Transition to Service / Business

Work within the delivery teams to ensure that all deliveries are known, understood and transitioned into service delivery and the BAU support teams. Training, documentation and change management has been successfully achieved and communicated.

Accountability to ensure that service team are engaged and ready for the change to be live. In addition to on-the-job development, you will have access to a wide range of online and facilitated development programmes, and support for relevant Continuing Professional Development

The skills you'll be sharing with the team:

  • A strong understanding of agile technology and be able to communicate effectively with the whole agile team. Experience working with agile methodologies and coming from a value delivery background
  • Prior experience in product. This includes experience in product strategy, roadmap planning, market research, and product development processes. A Success Framework you can benchmark your progress against and see where you need to develop to progress
  • Strong project management skills to effectively plan, execute, and deliver products. Able to manage timelines, resources, and budgets, and have experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
  • A good understanding of business principles and be able to align product strategies with business goals. Experience in market analysis, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Able to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers. Able to collaborate with team members to drive product development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address product issues, make data-driven decisions, and optimize product performance.
  • Leadership and management skills, able to and motivate cross-functional teams. Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
