As our Videographer you'll assist in the planning, production, and execution of all video content. Working with and reporting to the Senior Photography and Video Manager, you will be the lead in planning and filming. Working closely with the wider team to plan compelling stories for each season, ensuring the right products are focused on and have the assets needed for all channels.

This role is offered as a full-time, permanent position and is based in Cornwall with hybrid working dependent on the shooting schedule. You must be resident in the UK.

You'll help us by:

Leading all planning and filming both in studio and on location (storyboards, inspiration mood-boards / reference shots/ test shoots and lighting set ups). Working with the Senior Photography & Video Manager to ensure that all assets are shot and delivered on time.

Working closely with the Product Marketing and Social teams to create social first content. Keeping up with current trends and tailoring that that to the Seasalt brand. Working with the editor to create a quick turnaround of social assets.

Supporting the Lead editor with editing a portion of the launch videos. Working together to decide on priorities. Ensuring the filming style is reflected in the edits.

Keeping the studio and equipment well maintained and following good workflows for logging and naming footage. Ensuring that all footage is backed up at the end of a shoot.

Working with the Senior Photographers to develop exciting lighting options for studio and location shoots.

Attending location recces with the wider team to help plan and prepare for shoots.

The skills you'll be sharing with the team:

  • Proven experience directing, shooting & producing video content
  • A proven track record of building compelling brand and marketing videos
  • Experience in launching new products to market via video
  • Experience in a producing short form social first content
  • A good understanding of the social media and digital landscape
  • Experience of working as part of a team to deliver creative videos
  • Understanding of lighting setups and audio recording
  • Editing experience using Adobe Premier
  • Experience colour grading (ideally via DaVinci Resolve)
  • Experience flying drones and (desirable) holding a valid licence
  • Ability to connect with people, using a range of influence skills to drive results
  • A passion for the consumer and delivering an amazing experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • An impeccable level of attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to operate within budgetary and timeline constraints
  • Able to work additional hours and travel away to suit the needs of the business
  • Full, clean driving licence
