  • Permanent
  • 37 hours per week, term time only (39 working weeks)

What will I be doing?

We're working to improve the lives of people in Somerset - and you'll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Performing Driver daily checks, ensuring the vehicle is fit for use, lights, levels, seatbelts etc, and ensuring it is presented to the workshops when required.
  • Driving a Coach at a high standard to and from schools, along with swimming and excursion trips as required.
  • Ensuring your vehicle is always kept presentable inside and out.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

  • Hold a full Category D PCV driving licence ( essential )
  • Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification ( essential )
  • Digital Tachograph Card ( essential )
  • Smart appearance ( essential )Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • Positive "can do" attitude.
  • You will be responsible for the care and presentation of the vehicle in your care as required, and provide a friendly, reliable service for all, whilst being very flexible in terms of shift patterns, days and times worked. Whilst providing excellent customer service and a safe and comfortable journey for our passengers.
