We're offering an exciting opportunity to deliver the best end of life care throughout all support centres and back of house operations. As an Area Support & Logistics Specialist you'll assist the Area Support Center Manager by planning and supporting the day to day logistics of the Support Centre operation and the Funeral Service Operative team.

What to expect..
- Support the day to day funeral delivery and support centre operations, ensuring standards, compliance and procedures are upheld.
- Support the operation where required, including, but not limited to, ambulance duties, driving/bearing and preparation of the deceased.
- Oversee colleague rota's / overtime and the maintenance of our vehicle fleet.
- Build relationships with external agencies and promote community engagement initiatives.
What we're looking for..
- Strong logistical awareness in operations environment.
- Excellent communicator and problem solver, with strong organisational abilities.
- IT literate and a competent user of MS Office.
- People-focused with high level of understanding, empathy, and compassion.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- UK driving licence required (valid for both manual and automatic vehicles).
Training..
- Previous experience within the funeral industry is not required as we'll provide full training.
- Travel to our sites in the Portsmouth area will be required.
