Who You Are

  • Possess in-depth knowledge and experience of the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, and other licensing regime applications and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders both verbally and in writing while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Team player with experience in managing and prioritising a complex caseload and managing own workloads.
  • Experience in using the Civica programme.

What the Job Involves

  • Work 36 hours per week, with a minimum of 2/3 days in the office at Tooley Street.
  • May be required to work outside normal working hours, including evenings/weekends, to meet service needs.
  • Undertake compliance and enforcement work, including inspections, evidence gathering, preparation of prosecution papers, and witness statements.
  • Represent the council at resident and business forum meetings.
  • Prepare reports for committees and attend hearings, including court attendance where required.
