What does a live-in carer do?

As a live-in care assistant, you’ll follow a personalised care plan that enables clients to stay in their own homes. You’ll typically work an average of 8–10 hours per day, with daily rates based on hours worked and your experience. You’ll stay with your client during your chosen rota pattern, caring for one person (or sometimes a couple);  supporting with  daily activities, personal care, condition management, and household tasks.

Here, we value your skills, respect your choices, and are committed to supporting you. Together, we’re improving the lives of those in your local area, one meaningful step at a time, by delivering outstanding care across England. At The Good Care Group  we think there’s nowhere better for those who want to make a real difference.

We’re committed to diversity and inclusivity, believing it drives excellence and reflects the communities we serve. As a level 2 Disability Confident Employer, we provide equal opportunities and can make reasonable adjustments to support you. We’ve proudly launched our Neurodiversity and LGBTQ+ steering groups to further promote inclusivity and welcome applications from all backgrounds and experiences.

Please note any successful applicants for this role will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS and PVG check for working with adults.  It is a criminal offence for people who are barred from working in Regulated Activity (under the Safeguarding and Vulnerable groups Act 2006) to apply for roles that require them to work unsupervised with that particular group.

Good luck with your application
