What's it all about?

The Management Accountant role is essential for providing financial support to stakeholders within Travelodge. You'll oversee specific lines in the Profit and Loss statement, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting, including the creation of accruals, prepayments, and other journal entries. Managing the month-end process will require you to deliver timely financial reports and analyse variances while collaborating with budget holders for insights. You'll also reconcile balance sheet accounts to meet management review standards. In this fast-paced environment, you'll also support various ad-hoc finance projects as needed. If you have around two years of experience in a larger company, that would be a great fit! You'll need a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset to tackle challenges head-on. Strong communication skills are important too, as you'll be working with various stakeholders. If you're comfortable with Excel and have some familiarity with financial systems, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to grow and make a real impact.
