JOB INTRODUCTION
William Grant & Sons is a vibrant and fast-growing business with an unenviable set of awarding winning brands. We are looking for an expert in merchandising to join our global team and build visibility plans with our global brand teams, taking into consideration key market strategies and customer needs.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
To be an expert in the off-trade channel and provide a customer centric approach when planning, developing and delivering world-class merchandising plans.
Work collaboratively with the global brand teams to execute plans that drive brand visibility and consumer engagement.
Optimise the development and production of POS, with suppliers and agencies, to ensure all materials are delivered on-time, cost efficient and in-line with brand guidelines.
JOB OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Armed with a positive, can-do attitude and an excellent knowledge of the spirits industry you will have had experience of delivering successful visibility programmes in the retail sector.
- Your previous experience in category/ trade marketing, across a global matrix organisation will help us ensure that the company's merchandising to be best in class.
- You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and build strong, cross-functional relationships with the brand teams, procurement, local markets and agencies. Some international travel will be required.
- Your passion for sustainability as well as your eye to detail will be critical in this role
