“I’ve never liked the idea of the ‘cliff-edge of retirement’ where you just suddenly stop working altogether. I think it’s always good to have something purposeful that you’re doing.
Financial coaching appealed to me straight away because it was flexible and home-based. I’d also not worked in finance before, but when you get to 60, you end up with a lot of accumulated financial knowledge, so I knew more than I thought.”

“When I left my job, I’d basically worked too hard, too many hours, too many weeks, too many years. I spent 15 years being part of a team that built a company up from £3 million to £80 million. I didn’t know what I wanted to do next, but I knew I quite fancied a career change. I thought it would be nice to give something back to someone, somewhere. Make use of my profession! Now I’m in a position to give back, I want to do that.
I wanted to find something to keep me occupied that’s part time and flexible. Financial coaching is great for that. I love being in control of my own schedule and time. I earn the money I want working 3 days a week – it’s so flexible. I was actually at the ice rink until 10am this morning. It’s so good to be able to do that.”

Becoming a Money Coach is a flexible, rewarding and meaningful way to develop your self-employed career whilst also helping others to achieve financial peace of mind.
We’ll guide you through a 6 week training program that, upon completion, will enable you to work with us as an accredited self-employed financial coach, using the support of our brand, HQ and technology to support your clients.
Our training programme is the first in the UK to be formally accredited by some of the best known external bodies in the personal finance industry.
