Upcycling Volunteer

Sue Ryder Upcycling Volunteer Volunteer to help Sue Ryder to be there when it matters. As an Upcycling Volunteer you will help us to upcycle items that were once destined for landfill, creating individual bespoke items for us to sell in the shop, supporting our "Green Agenda" and creating customer interest. You will help us to restore and upcycle old/broken furniture and household items. You will get involved with duties such as repairs, painting, decoupage etc. You will work with a friendly team to create upcycled products ranging from shabby chic cabinets and tables to chalk painted wardrobes. You have a keen eye for detail, a creative streak, good common sense and will be able to follow safety guidance. Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.
