About N Family Club
We’re N Family, and we’re here for dreams of all sizes.
Inspired by futures. And empowered by people who dream big.
We began with a dream. To be the highest quality, and most loved, early years education group in the UK. We imagined a future of early years education that was different. Where a focused, curriculum-led approach would inspire big dreamers and big career movers. Where children are prepared for this ever-changing, modern world and where people come to life when they come to work!
Why we’re working with Rest Less
You might think that age would be a barrier to starting a role working with young children, but here at N we know that our diverse team is our greatest strength and that our team’s life experiences enrich learning opportunities, and offer the very best environment for our children.
It’s something we feel really passionate about, which is why, in addition to our existing roles, we recently launched our Over 50s Apprenticeships – to better support career changers and returners into the Early Years sector.
Our full-time and part-time apprenticeships (for educators, chefs and support office roles) mean that you can earn while you learn, and offer a blend of online and on-the-job training so there’s no need to go to college.
For brand-new educators, we will enroll you on to our N Academy Foundations courses, so you can quickly get up to speed with all-things-early-years. For those returning to the sector after a career break, we can support you with refresher courses in First Aid, Safeguarding and IT, and can offer Level 5 and 7 apprenticeships to fast-track you to leadership.
So, If you love children and feel passionate about helping them kick start their learning journey – you will have a place here with us at N Family Club. And as part of a passionate and skilled team, we’ll support you every step of the way – helping you carve out a fantastic career in Early Years, no matter when in life you start.
We’re proud to be partnering with Rest Less and have flexible roles and shift patterns to suit everyone’s needs, whether that be shorter days, mornings only or no two days in a row. So whether you need additional flexibility to spend time with your family, to study, or for any other reason, we want to support it and, in doing so, support your wellbeing.
Whatever part you play – if you work in the kitchen or if you work in rooms – you’ll have the opportunity to make a life-impacting change on every child that we look after.

Example roles at N Family Club
Nursery Educators
Inspiring every child to dream big.
The dreams of every child in every Nursery come to life thanks to the passion and imagination of our Nursery Educators.
Our Educators inspire every child to dream big, think creatively, act responsibly and enjoy every moment of their time with us. Nursery Educators have a ‘make it happen’ attitude and a passion for unlocking the potential of every child.
We’re looking for people who can inspire children and their families with ideas that make big dreams a reality. People with a positive outlook, energetic nature and solutions-focused approach. Assistant Educator roles don’t require qualifications or experience. For all other roles, we’re looking for people with experience with children in an educational setting, combined with Level 2/3 or above EY Qualifications.
Nursery Bank
The dream job that works around your life.
If you dream of work that works for your busy life, then Nursery Bank at N Family might just be the perfect fit. This role has been created to support our teams in our nurseries and support you in your life. It’s the perfect blend that works for all.
Nursery Bank is for people who dream of more flexibility in their work to fit around their life.
Our Nurseries are open five days a week and our bank of talented people are ready to support as and when required, on a day-to-day and week-to-week basis. Depending on your time and commitments, you can work from just a few hours a day up to 40hrs a week, one day a week or a few days a month. Whatever works to meet your needs.
Whether you’re a qualified or unqualified Early Years Practitioner, or Chef, if you have a passion for learning and development, Nursery Bank could be the perfect fit. Depending on the role you go for, you could be covering our nursery rooms delivering our ‘learning through play’ educational ethos, or you could be in the kitchen cooking our nutritious meals. All this while promoting child welfare and ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
If you have any experience of working with children, that would be brilliant. But most important is your attitude and desire to learn. You’ll be surrounded by experts in all fields, so your opportunity to work with, learn from and maybe develop into a bigger role in nursery education is there for the taking.
Over 50s apprenticeships
Developing skills. Growing careers.
Our Over 50s Apprenticeship Programmes are designed to help people restart their career in the world of education, or to support a return to the Early Years. Offering a unique opportunity to earn while you learn, they can be a really practical way to change or enhance your career, without taking on any debt.
For career changers, our Level 2 and Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeships are delivered in work – and in partnership – with specialists in Apprenticeship training. Apprenticeships are fully funded by N Family Club, leading to an industry recognised qualification and can include the opportunity to upskill your Maths and English qualifications, where necessary. You will be paid a salary and will be fully supported to ensure you develop all the knowledge and skills you need to start your new career in early years.
For career returners, our Level 5 and 7 Apprenticeships offer an opportunity to progress, and undertake training to update your knowledge with sector changes. In addition to an apprenticeship we can also offer internal CPD and Leadership courses within our own N academy training. As we’re growing rapidly, there are lots of chances to progress or specialise, if that’s your aspiration.
In both cases, our blended approach to learning and earning will give you the skills and hands-on training you need to deliver the highest quality of inspirational education and care for every child.
Although working with children can be physically and mentally demanding, that does not mean that is a barrier to having older team members, including apprentices. We are very flexible and offer both full-time and part-time apprenticeship roles, with the minimum hours being sixteen per week. We support our team’s mental and physical wellbeing through our many wellbeing-related benefits, including wellbeing apps, EAP scheme, reasonable adjustments, discretionary and sick leave and health and menopause support.
