What is Live in care?
A live in care service means that a professional Carer stays with you or your loved one to provide 24/7 support. At Lifted, for example, they match you and your loved one with a full-trained live-in Carer so your loved one gets specialist care in the comfort of their own home.
What is Home care?
Every home care service Lifted provides is customised to your individual, specific needs. To make sure Lifted have enough time to offer personalised support, they offer a minimum of one hour of home care a week for one month or more.
Is Lifted regulated by the Care Quality Commission
Yes. Lifted is regulated by the Care Quality Commission. This means we follow a strict set of regulations to ensure we deliver the highest quality support. We are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission. We are very proud of our inspection report. You can read it here.
Why is it important to have CQC-regulated live in care?
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. Care companies are awarded a ranking to classify how safe and effective the care they’re providing is.
Lifted are currently ranking as ‘Good’ after their recent inspection which means the services they are providing are performing well and meeting the expectations of the CQC board in all categories.
