Job Title:Senior Buyer (Indirect Procurement - Construction)

Location:Preston: We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary:Up to £50,000 depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

  • Oversee major construction projects, including sourcing and contracting for professional services and main contractors
  • Create and implement strategies for programs and projects to meet business needs
  • Manage sourcing events such as competitive tenders, frameworks, cost analysis, target cost contracts, and cost reimbursable contracts
  • Collaborate with teams across different business categories

Your skills and experiences:

  • Background in both indirect procurement and construction management
  • Experience in the administration of construction contracts is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and manage supplier relationships effectively
  • Your previous experience might also include Quantity Surveying, Construction Contract & Commercial management and Project Management
