Job Description

Grade B - £39,390 (National Framework) or £44,792 (London Framework - if you are London office based or homebased and live within the boundary of the M25) - There is also an additional homeworking allowance of £553 per annum for those working from home.

Contracted Hours: Full time 37 hours per week or compressed hours/job share will also be considered.

Contract Type: Permanent

Home-based with regular meetings in London, Newcastle or Leeds offices

You will join a small, high performing team of change professionals, working across the organisation to drive priorities and standards of programme and project delivery. You will work closely with a professional community across the organisation delivering all types of change in a recently transformed digital service-based environment.

As a geographically dispersed organisation, we work remotely day to day, but recognising the value and importance of team collaboration and face-to-face contact, you would be expected to travel to one our office locations at least twice per-month.

In this role you would lead on developing and tracking the organisation's portfolio plans and five-year roadmap, working with the Portfolio Lead and benefits manager to profile investments based on agreed priority and sequence. You will understand and track dependency at the portfolio level. Linked to this, you will also develop a resource strategy to ensure the availability of the right skills and capabilities when needed to deliver the plan. You will work closely with our people and commercial teams to plan for and source the right people at the right time. You will also work with PMO colleagues across our programmes to ensure standards of planning and resource management are applied consistently well.

What you will bring...

Experience of delivering complex strategic projects and/or programmes that contain a significant element of business change and digital transformation.

Experience of managing resources and planning activities in complex projects and programmes

Good knowledge of a wide range of programme/project methodologies and demonstrable experience of applying them appropriately in different contexts (e.g., PRINCE 2, AGILE).

Experience of improving performance by coaching individuals to work differently and through embedding new practices and standards.
