Job Description

Lead on improvements to DBS Assets in Industry/Government Furnished Equipment services to include the production of user requirements for a new DBS AiI data solution and support in preparation of user requirements for customer change requests.Liaison with internal and contracted external IT support teams to maintain and develop the current database to meet changing business needs.Identify potential automation opportunities (e.g. Automation Garage/Power Apps/Power BI) of current processes, forms, management information and Statistics.Collaboration and support to wider MoD teams and associated industry partners to support projects to develop new inventory systems, data portals, finance applications and modernisation programmes.Undertake continuous reviews of a wide-ranging set of Policy/Guidance/Controls relating to AiI/GFE to ensure DBS compliance.Develop and maintain good communication channels with document owners and wider stakeholders and suggest changes to confirm accuracy of content where they impact DBS service lines.Process requests for change from stakeholders (mainly DE&S):Stakeholder liaison and advice and regular customer feedbackEnsure URs are adequately detailed from the originator including quantified benefitsUndertake analysis to prove the concept of the change and provide customer feedback and evidence of potential issues and/or rejection of the CRDevelopment and continual maintenance of a detailed knowledge and information database to capture current DBS AiI processes enabling consistent responses to queries and to ensure team resilience for the future.
