As part of our commitment to excellence, we deliver outstanding domestic services that ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and staff.Role Summary:The Deputy Domestics Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Domestics Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping and cleaning services at Goodenough College. This includes managing a team of domestic assistants, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day management of domestic services.
- Supervise and motivate a team of domestic assistants, providing training and support as needed.
- Ensure all areas of the college are cleaned to the highest standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks.
- Manage inventory and order cleaning supplies.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling and payroll.
- Respond to and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or housekeeping environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings if required.
