As a Customer Team Member with driving responsibilities, you'll be part of a friendly team that's dedicated to helping our customers. You'll work across two store locations - your base store, and a satellite store at our local depot.

At Co-op, we do things a different way. For over 175 years we've focused on making things fairer for our members and their communities, and as a colleague we promise to take care of you. You'll get support for your physical, mental, and financial wellbeing, as well as market leading policies to help you through life events from bereavement and pregnancy loss to fertility treatment and menopause.
What you'll do
* Load orders into the delivery vehicle, transporting them to the satellite store, representing Co-op out on the road as a safe and considerate driver
* Make sure the satellite store is safe and legal - keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
* Make sure your delivery vehicle is safe and compliant, conducting daily checks to ensure it's in good working order, returning it to the base store on completion of your visit.
* Support your base store when not visiting the satellite store, serving customers on the till, restocking shelves, and helping your colleagues solve problems
* Help introduce new products and services in the store and make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
* Get involved in all kinds of activities and events to support your local community

This job would suit people who have:
* A full UK driving license held for at least 3 years and with no more than 6 points
* Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
* Confidence in working alone in a store environment
* A positive approach to change and problem solving
* The flexibility to work a range of different shifts

Why Co-op?
- 30% discount on all Co-op products in-store plus 10% discounts on all other brands (increasing to 20% on payday weekends)
- A pension scheme with up to 10% employer contributions
- Wagestream- a money management app giving you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it
- 31 days of holiday (including bank holidays, pro rata for part time colleagues)
- Virtual healthcare services for you and your family, including access to GP appointments, eye care, mental health support, and nutrition and fitness consultations
- 24/7 employee assistance service
- Full, paid training and dedicated support for your personal development and career progression
- Rotas shared three weeks in advance and accessible on your phone
- Cycle-to-work scheme
