Technology Billing and Finance Coordinator (12 month FTC with opportunity of permanent extension)

We're excited to offer an opportunity for a Technology Billing and Finance Coordinator to join our Source-to-Pay team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a permanent position. In this entry-level role, you'll play a key part in supporting billing and renewal activities for Co-op's third-party technology suppliers.
Your main responsibilities will include reviewing and validating invoices, raising and managing purchase orders, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time, and handling any billing-related queries on behalf of the team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while contributing to the smooth operation of our technology supplier partnerships.

What you'll do
- Validate bills and recharge process
- Manage supplier/customer queries raised via Teams and email
- Raise and manage purchase order approvals, receipts and invoice payments
- Be involved in Transformation - reviewing our current processes and making them fit for the future
- Track third-party renewals, sending timely reminders and output reporting
- Check Purchase Orders against budgets, flagging any discrepancies
This role would suit people who have
- A basic understanding of finance or an interest in building a career in this area
- Good Microsoft Excel skills and general IT skills with the ability to use programmes across Microsoft Office/365
- Good communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners
- Strong analytical and time management skills
