The Role:

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: Develop more impactful marketing strategies, technology and plans to build more meaningful and valuable relationships with customers.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this is a senior role that has 2 critical requirements: marrying leading MarTech thinking and experience with strong data-based focus on how we optimise our customer journeys to derive maximum value and serve customers better. This includes leading and driving our daily CRM performance and engagement.

KPI's: Monthly trackable customers, Customer Lifetime value, Retention, MarTech roadmap to deliver cost per order efficiencies.

LOCATION: 2 days per week in our offices, of which minimum 1 day (ideally 2) in our Head Office in Nuneaton alongside Hybrid working. We also have a London Hub.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Marketing Leadership: Contribute to strategic decision-making and the development of customer journeys, aligning marketing strategies with business goals while fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
  • CRM: Oversee the creation and execution of a comprehensive CRM strategy, leveraging data to enhance customer engagement, retention, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Group MarTech: Lead the global implementation of data-driven MarTech tools, optimising marketing capabilities and performance across markets while ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance.
  • Customer Journeys: Develop and activate data-driven customer journeys with coordinated cross-channel messaging to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Development of High Performing Teams: Inspire and lead marketing teams by aligning leadership with company values, driving team cohesion, and implementing strong talent development strategies.
The Person:

Key Requirements:

  • Significant relevant experience as a marketing and business leader, developing and optimising marketing capability effectiveness to drive performance.
  • High degree of strategic thinking combined with proven record of tactical and executional excellence.
  • Data-led marketeer, ROI driven and commercially astute.
  • Experience leading teams across multiple marketing workstreams.
  • Detail focused and fast paced, motivated both by developing strong customer plans as well as reacting to tactical needs of the business dependent on performance.
  • Senior leader, ability to manage key stakeholders at exec level, working cross functionally with other departments and a proven leader of teams developing a high-performance focused culture.
