Thank you for taking an interest in Trumacar Primary School which serves the area of Heysham, just outside Lancaster. Trumacar currently has 326 pupils on roll and has its own Nursery attached to the school which provides places for 52 three and four year olds. Our intake number for main school is 45 per year group. Due to staff resignation, we are now seeking to employ a Welfare Assistant at Foundation Living Wage (FLW) at £12.00 per hour. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil all the duties on the Job Description and be accountable to the Midday Supervisors and Head of School. Appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and subject to references. Please note that in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2022, an online search will be carried out as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
