SEND Level 1 Caseworker - 2 Positions Available

Due to recent expansion within the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Team in Lincolnshire, we have exciting opportunities for two new SEND Level 1 Caseworkers to join us. One position is in the North and South Kesteven (NKSK) Team and the other is in the East Lindsey Team.

About the role

Our SEND Level 1 Caseworkers ensure that children and young people with the most complex special educational needs are well supported to have the best possible life outcomes through effective assessment of their needs and active administration of their Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plans.

The SEND Team coordinates key processes for children and young people with complex special educational needs. These processes include Statutory EHC Needs Assessments, as well as processing of the Annual Reviews of EHC plans, to ensure that plans are up-to-date and relevant. Level 1 Caseworkers undertake extensive liaison with the families of children and young people as well as with a wide range of education, social care, and health professionals.

This is a smarter working opportunity with the expectation that some time is spent in an office, with meetings in person but also via video conference calls.
