SALARY: £42,120 - £46,800

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh

HOURS: Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in our Edinburgh Princess Exchange office

The RWA Reporting & Analysis team within Central Finance has responsibility for calculating and reporting the Group's Risk Weighted Assets and other regulatory capital information. This is an exciting opportunity to join the RWA execution team withing RWA reporting & Analysis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic finance professional with a track record of success in Financial Reporting roles, with strong communication skills. Ideally you will either have a Finance Qualification or be working towards one.  Experience of Regulatory Reporting is not a requirement, though advantageous.

The role requires the colleague to support the production of Regulatory Capital Reporting and associated Data Governance processes. The position involves data manipulation, preparation of robust MI and establishing and maintaining effective relationships across Finance and Risk teams.

Day to day you'll be;

  • Supporting the delivery of robust risk weighted asset MI for internal / external stakeholders within agreed timelines.
  • Assisting in the delivery of robust data quality reporting.
  • Establishing and building strong relationships with stakeholders including presenting at senior stakeholder meetings.
  • Maintaining a robust control environment.
  • Engaging with stakeholder teams to understand the wider impact of process changes and ensure a collaborative outcome.

What you'll need

  • You have or are studying towards a professional finance qualification (or qualified by experience).
  • You'll have a practical understanding of financial systems and processes with the ability to use and manipulate data and present information to inform business decisions.
  • You can plan, organise and prioritise your workload with the ability to identify and implement flexibility in plans when required.
  • You have good interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, departments and levels.
  • You can implement change using a confident and collaborative approach.
