JOB TITLE: Mortgage Consultant

SALARY: Starting salary from £24, 539

LOCATION(S): Office Hub Sheffield Furnival Ct

HOURS: Full time, 35 hours per week (see below)

Shift operating hours: Weekly rotational pattern 10:00-20:00

5 out of 7 days (over a Mon-Sat weekly period)

Non working days are moved to suit customer demand

Weekend working is currently 3 weekend days in 8 weeks

Start time between 10am and 12pm (Sat 9am) and end time 6pm to 8pm (Sat 4pm)

8 weeks notice of confirmed shift pattern

About this opportunity

Could you help our home customers realise and protect their dreams?As one of our Mortgage Consultants you'll be talking to a variety of existing and new to bank customers about their individual home journeys - whether they're first time buyers, investors or looking to move/improve their home or reviewing their protection.

  • You'll be supporting customers with a wide variety of topics, this could be the early stages of buying their home and guiding them through our digital Home journeys to dealing with existing customer queries and helping customers post application, with our massive customer base no two journeys will be the same!
  • You'll get to really know them and provide the expert professional guidance to support their mortgage, protection and insurance needs.
  • Your help will play a key role in how we, as a Group, support them with their varied and unique needs to achieve their home and financial aspirations.
  • We'll also support your development with an experienced team and manager to ensure your advice is always appropriate and keep your knowledge of policies and procedures up to date through regular coaching and training sessions.

This isn't a Monday-Friday 9-5 role. It's a rewarding role that offers a great deal of flexibility with working arrangements that suit both you and the needs of the team and our customers. Please note that in order to be eligible to work in this role you will need to be available to work to 8pm as and when required.

  • Mornings - The start time of this shift will range from 10am to 12pm with the finish time ranging from 6pm to 8pm. This is a Monday to Friday shift pattern with a requirement to work 3 out of 8 Saturdays 9am to 4pm.

We provide a comprehensive induction programme followed by expert support from one of our Foundation coaches to ensure you are confident to meet the needs of our Home customers. You'll also get opportunities to develop new skills in new product areas and opportunities to advance or move across the Group.

Banking experience or experience engaging with customers would be a bonus!
