Emergency Response Volunteer (Worcestershire)

When there is a fire, flood or severe weather, we're among the first to respond. From making a cup of tea to deliver the essentials, we work with other organisations to do what's needed straight away. This service operates 24/7. We would like you to: - meet at office (WR4 9GY) within 30 minutes. - Volunteers need to cover 4 x 12 hour shifts per month. - Have held a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive in the UK. Have access to your own vehicle and be willing to drive a British Red Cross vehicle - Be able to work as part of a team with good communication and listening skills. - Are available to undertake required e-learning modules and Zoom training sessions in the first few months of volunteering (please see details in the Learning Pathway attached) plus other service specific training as required. - We are looking for volunteers to commit to a minimum of 12 months. - Due to the nature of this role, applicants must undergo an Enhanced with Adults barred Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
