Speak out. Stay safe. Schools Service Volunteer

NSPCC

Job Description

We are looking for volunteers from all over Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire to join our Speak out. Stay safe. volunteer team, to help us protect a generation of children from abuse and neglect.

What does the role involve?

You will visit local primary schools to deliver our age-appropriate safeguarding workshops, alongside other volunteers. The workshops teach children about the different types of abuse and how they can speak out about any worries they may have.

We need enthusiastic and passionate people to help grow our team, in order to empower more children to stay safe. Initial and ongoing training is provided.

We want people who:

  • are passionate about the wellbeing of children
  • enjoy working as part of a team
  • are interested in learning new skills
  • can travel to primary schools in their local area
  • can commit to 12 months in the role, visiting two schools per month during Monday-Thursday mornings.
