Charity Fundraiser Bid writer

MRF requires an experienced bid writer to help increase our capacity to support more people within the grassroots communities.

What are we looking for?

More than one volunteer would be considered for fundraising skills, e.g., bid writing versus events or sponsorship.

We do not expect one perfect person. We would expect a volunteer with:

• Commitment to helping young people develop and fulfil their potential,
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Being a self-starter and a positive member of a small team
• Ability to network effectively within the charity and business corporate responsibility sectors
• Social media and computer literacy
• Being able to learn, listen, and promote the work of MRF
• Developing online giving
• Networking with potential donors
• Producing applications to charitable trusts and foundations

We expect the volunteers to have at least 3 years of experience in this line of work already

Creative and able to use their own initiative

Excellent time management

Proactive in searching for funding applications

What difference will you make?

Your input will help us generate income streams to build the charity's capacity to continue delivering low-cost music learning and create new opportunities for young people. Income may be from sponsored activities, fundraising events, identifying donors, or submitting bids to charitable foundations.
