Fundraiser

Reach Volunteering

Job Description

We are looking to hire a dynamic and enthusiastic Fundraiser on a part-time basis (hours to suit) to lead the community fundraising initiatives for WHISC

What will you be doing?

You will be part of then WHISC Leadership Team and be responsible for creating and executing the community and corporate fundraising and social enterprise strategies. The Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of vulnerable women through the generation of new income. This income generation is broken into two programmes: the Community Fundraising programme and the SME Corporate Partnerships programme, both of which you'll be involved in.

The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for WHISC through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting 'Champions' for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, give as you earn, social enterprise initiatives and recruiting support and volunteers from local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.

This role would be a perfect opportunity for a positive, proactive and creative fundraiser with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising. We will also consider candidates from a sales and or marketingbackground with experience in bid writing.

To be successful in this role you'll be a strong networker and relationship builder, with the ability to relate and communicate effectively whilst building a pipeline of fund-raising opportunities, both at a corporate and community level. You'll be results-driven, ambitious, with creative thinking and a strong sense of teamwork.
