Job Description

The Rose & Daisy Foundation are looking for a social media executive to help maintain our social profiles and grow each platform by planning content and social campaigns. RDF supports parents and families after the tragic loss of a baby.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Social Media Manager to lead our efforts in amplifying our mission through various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies and a deep commitment to supporting grieving families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and support for The Rose & Daisy Foundation.
  2. Lead the creation and curation of compelling content (including graphics, videos, and written posts) that effectively communicates our mission and programs, and resonates with our audience.
  3. Manage all social media accounts ensuring consistency in branding, messaging, and tone.
  4. Oversee community management efforts, including monitoring social media channels for relevant conversations, trends, and opportunities to engage with our audience.
  5. Provide timely and empathetic responses to comments, messages, and inquiries from followers, offering support and information about our services.
  6. Collaborate closely with internal team to coordinate social media campaigns and initiatives.
  7. Analyse metrics and insights to assess the effectiveness of our efforts, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
  8. Stay informed about social media trends and best practices, and implement new strategies to optimize our presence and reach online.

What are we looking for?

  1. Experience managing social media accounts for a charity/organization, preferably in the healthcare/mental health services sector.
  2. Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that drive engagement, increase followership, and achieve organizational goals.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach to engaging with sensitive topics.
  4. Deep understanding of social media platforms and proficiency in social media management tools, namely Later.
  5. Creative thinking and ability to develop engaging content that connects with diverse audiences.
  6. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  7. Commitment to the mission and values of The Rose & Daisy Foundation, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of grieving families.
