Content Creator & Brand Guardian

Reach Volunteering

Job Description

We are looking to collaborate with a social media expert to help build up our content bank that will be used across our social channels.

What will you be doing?

Working with our fundraising team to design template social media posts that cover a variety of fundraising events, charity information posts and supporter celebratory content.

We want our social media accounts to reflect our identity and ambitions going forward. We're looking to work with someone to get to know the cause and put a framework in place to ensure our branding and messaging is consistent across all channels of communication.

This includes designing engaging content to promote Dragonfly Cancer Trust for our content bank, as well as working with us to create guidelines for social media volunteers going forward.

What are we looking for?

Professional experience in content design and social media.

What difference will you make?

Dragonfly Cancer Trust works with hospitals and hospices across the UK to support young cancer patients under the age of 25 with a life-limiting diagnosis. Our focus is on memory making and we help families to make the most of each moment together.

On average, around 530 young patients under the age of 25 will die from cancer and we are proud to say that in 2023 we supported over a third of these young people during the final weeks and months with their loved ones. Our small charity is growing, but we know there are still a huge number of young cancer patients that need our support and we want to reach even more families in 2024.

To achieve this we need to raise the profile of Dragonfly Cancer Trust and we are looking for super savvy content creators to be a part of our journey by designing social media posts that fit with our ambitions.
