Social Media Marketers and Copywriters

We are a mental health charity looking for volunteers to help run our social media channels to promote our offering of affordable online counselling service, as well as copywriters to manage our website's blog.

We require those affected by, and/or interested in, mental health and with a track record of growing social media channels/blogs. We are seeking motivated volunteers who can manage one or more of these channels independently (i.e. proactively and with initiative).

Either experience managing and growing *any* social media channel is required such as facebook, twitter (X) and TikTok, or; Experience in copywriting; to manage and grow our website's blog to help improve understanding about mental health issues and to improve our website's SEO. Ideally has the ability to write and edit original content independently as well as to reach counsellors/mental health professionals that are interested in contributing their insights to postings: similar to the format of PsychologyToday posts.

Around 1 in 4 adults in the UK currently experience a mental health issue. Despite this, support is often difficult to reach given long waiting lists and the cost of private therapy. We were founded to help improve this situation by offering therapy that is more affordable, with further concessions for those on low-incomes, including those that are unemployed and/or on benefits. We believe everyone should have the right to reach the support they need and deserve. Therefore, we're seeking experienced social media volunteers and copywriters to help us on our mission to promote the charity's offering; to help improve awareness of our cost-effective service, and in turn, help individuals reach timely support.
