Community Champions Befriender (volunteer)

We are looking for volunteers who will visit, make phone calls or write to older people who live alone in Harborough District, South Leicestershire.

Our volunteers get in touch once a week to share some news and to listen, it makes such a difference to someone who might not be able to get out of the house on their own.

You will be matched for up to a year and there are opportunities to encourage people to get involved with the community.

We will offer you training and support as you develop a relationship with your client.
