NO.1 LIME BASIL AND MANDARIN HANDWASH
I have adored Jo Malone’s Lime Basil and Mandarin fragrance for as long as I can remember and wear the genuine article on a regular basis. So I am a little amazed that Aldi’s luxury handwash smells exactly like it. Amazed but delighted. Buy some! £2.49 from the Aldi website.
Now, a few skincare suggestions for you. As we all have different requirements from our beauty products, these are suitable for all skin types.
BALANCE ME. HONESTLY NATURAL, CRUELTY-FREE SKINCARE
Most companies these days want to tell us they are environmentally responsible but are they? Balance Me has a proven commitment to balancing people, planet and profit. This award winning brand not only takes sustainability seriously, it equally importantly uses naturally active botanicals blended with pure grade essential oils which really are a treat for all skin types. Usefully, you can book a complimentary 20 mins consultation via phone, video call, email or Messenger.
I’ve been using their Vitamin C Repair Serum because beauty bloggers so often say that (stabilised) Vit C is the most important thing for your skin. The other plus is that it should, over time, help fade my dark spots (aka sun damage). As I’ve developed darker skin around my eyes over the last couple of years I’m also giving their Wonder Eye Cream a go which is “brilliant at reducing dark circles.” Especially like the spa-like fragrance and the fact that it also firms the skin in that area.
If you’d like to try Balance Me, here’s the link to their website. Use code ANNABELANDGRACE15 for 15% off across the site (excluding sale items, kits and duos).
KOREAN SKIN THERAPY
This country mouse ventured up to London a couple of weeks ago to see Hallyu, The Korean Wave exhibition at the V&A. South Korea has been going through a ‘compressed modernity’ and the creative ideas and influence of their artists, massively popular K-Pop bands, fashion designers and film makers (Parasite, Squid Game) are now flooding the world.
South Korea is also, as I’m sure you already know, renowned for its skincare. One brand, Erborian, merges Korean technology with ancient medicinal herbs – their iconic ‘makeup-meets-skincare’ BB and CC creams are particularly worth consideration. Am very impressed with their CC Dull Correct which makes light work of the dark circles around my eyes.

Ultimate Winter Glow
Dr Sara Palmer Hussey, a PHD biologist, is already renowned for her pioneering day and night supplements, which are highly regarded by leading nutritionists, skincare experts, athletes and supermodels.
Annabel and I have long been fans of Lumity Life and this facial oil is the one I turn to when my complexion is feeling dry and frazzled. It’s not sticky and absorbs quickly.
For more information go to the Lumity website. At the time of writing there is a special offer on the two products featured here – £90 instead of £174.
