Interestingly, both Helen and I are pretty typical apples – we both have large busts, undefined waists, narrow hips and slim legs. Other features of this body shape can be:
Rib cage and and back appear somewhat wide
May have wide or/and fleshy shoulders
Slim arms
Flat bottom
In this video, Helen shows us how we can make the most of our apple shape with some great tips and tricks:
One extra tip: create balance on your lower body by wearing the right shoes – platforms, wedges, calf length boots, ballet flats and strappy sandals will all look great. Best to steer clear of kitten heels and bulky looking boots such as Uggs which will make your legs look thinner and draw attention back to your waist.
