The Joy Club’s theme for January is giving back. After a month of over-indulgence during the festive period, January is typically the time when we lean into the “New Year, new me” mindset and set ourselves on a mission of self-improvement. As we enter 2023, rather than looking inwards, The Joy Club wants to extend their attention towards the wider world. Through their theme of giving back, they will focus on the community and how we can make positive changes in the world around us.
In the interest of giving back, they have a range of events covering homelessness, climate change, dementia and animal shelters. In these sessions, you can learn about how to help tackle some of our most pressing issues.
