It is so easy to just keep on buying the same products for your home and avoiding the issues with the planet. However there are more and more companies that are producing sustainable products that are either using recycled constituents or products that are not harmful to the planet.
We have featured each of the following companies in the past so I will do a brief summary and a link through to the full review.
WHO GIVES A CRAP
They make paper products without using trees but instead use environmentally friendly materials. They donate 50% of their profits to help build toilets and improve sanitation in the developing world. To date they’ve donated over £1,000,000 to charity and saved a heck of a lot of trees, water and energy!
Since I last wrote about this company they have expanded. They now produce two types of loo paper, kitchen towels and tissues. I use all of them and have had no complaints from my family. The premium loo paper is so soft. I would challenge you to know that it is anything less than the best of loo papers! I have just started using their kitchen towels and tissues and again they are perfect. There is no reason on the planet for you not to buy from this company. Every time you sit on the loo think of the good you are doing!

WEAVER GREEN
The opportunity to help clear up some of the 35 billion plastic bottles that end up in our seas and landfill every year was too good to miss. So Tasha and Barney, the founders of Weaver Green, began exploring the many ways that this practical, robust material could be given a second, more long-term use within our homes and gardens.
Today, back in their Devonshire home, Tasha and Barney and the Weaver Green team offer beautiful recycled rugs, blankets, footstools, cushions and bags. They offer all of the benefits of plastic without any compromise in style, feel or value. They hand loom all their lovely textiles and use artisans throughout Europe, Scandinavia and Asia to make their gorgeous, soft, practical products.

TINCTURE LONDON
Before Angelika, the Tincture London founder, set out developing TINCTURE she tested every product on the market. She checked their performance levels and their ingredients lists and what she found was shocking. The majority of cleaning products contain ingredients not only harmful to the environment but also to our health and wellbeing.
At TINCTURE care has gone into every single ingredient. It is only used if 100% natural, sustainable and non-toxic.
