I have been making this sticky toffee pudding for years. It is my family’s favourite and whenever I had a crowd of young for supper this was the pud they asked for. It is also so simple to make which suits me perfectly. The recipe came from a cookbook belonging to my mother and originally came from a Yorkshire couple – William and Nicky McCauley.
