Content writer

Responsibilities:

• Write Farsi-language scripts for informative video content, as well as summaries for Video descriptions

Key skills required:

• Excellent written communication skills
• Content writing experience
• Ability to research topics and write concise summaries
• Proficiency in Farsi

As a content writer for our YouTube channel, you will be required to write Farsi-language scripts and summaries to a professional standard. This channel will represent our charity, the Afghanistan and Central Asian Association, and therefore we will require you to produce accurate, informed and thoughtful written pieces. We are looking for someone who:

• Has a passion for informative content
• Has a deep understanding of Afghanistan and other Central Asian countries, including the experiences of refugees and migrants from said countries in the UK
• Is able to take instructions and produce focused written work

As a content writer, you will contribute to a Farsi-language YouTube channel that brings Farsi speakers together from all over the world. You will also be representing an established charity that is dedicated to supporting migrants and refugees from Afghanistan and Central Asia.
