Who we are
The Oral Health Foundation is a charity working to improve oral health at a local and global level. Established more than fifty years ago, we work at national and international level, advocating for better policy; working with partners to enhance access to oral health resources; and helping people in communities to achieve better oral health and quality of life outcomes.
Our Mission: Better Oral Health for All - Improving peoples' lives by reducing the harm caused by oral diseases.
The role
Our Trustees play a vital role in governing the organisation by: ensuring that charitable activities are aligned with our strategic goals and core values; maintaining oversight of the financial sustainability of the charity; and supporting the staff team to deliver impactful outcomes.
We value diversity and aim for inclusion. We would particularly welcome applications from people from racially and socially minoritized groups.
We would like to complement our current skillset by encouraging those with knowledge or experience in the following key areas:
IT digital transformation / cyber security
HR employment law / human resources
PR communications / marketing
Applications are open now. Initial interviews will take place in May. If successful, candidates will be invited to observe our Board meeting on Monday 10th June, in London, with a view to being co-opted onto the Board in September.
