About Us: Somali Medical Aid Group is a registered charity in Somalia (2022) with an administrative office in London (2023). We operate in collaboration with a network of partner organizations, collectively striving to enhance public medical services in Somalia. Currently, we are embarking on a significant project valued at $2.5 million in partnership with MSF, and we are seeking exceptional and experienced professional volunteers to ensure the success of this venture.

We are looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join our team.

What you do:

  • Develop and write funding proposals to foundations and other organizations;
  • Execute proposal writing and grant applications;
  • Conduct research and engage with various foundations and organizations to expand our fundraising network.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of various fundraising techniques and strategies for prospective donor sourcing;
  • Motivated to work in a dynamic and emerging organization;
  • Highly organized with proven experience in fundraising for charities from both charitable and corporate organizations;
  • Strong communication skills.
