Title: Creative Volunteer for Unity3D Programming

Description: UKFilmNet urgently requires your expertise in Unity3D programming and 3D design to update and enhance our most popular and in-demand learning tool—a Unity-based lighting simulator. This simulator is crucial for teaching young learners the key skills needed for lighting in a TV studio. The role involves updating the simulator to the latest version of Unity and ensuring its functionality in both Unity3D Player and WebGL formats. This update is critical as the current version of the tool is out of date and no longer supported, hindering our educational impact.

Skills Needed:

  • Proficiency in Unity3D programming and familiar with 3D design.
  • Experience with updating software versions and exporting tools in Unity to create content in WebGL format.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing applications for a better user experience.

Your expertise will transform educational content, making it visually stimulating and easier to understand for young learners.Skills Needed:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and enhance existing applications for a better user experience.
  • Ability to import legacy Unity and ensure updated version works with current versions and WebGL
  • RELIABILITY AND SELF ORGANISING - when you commit to a project you see it though

By revitalizing our Unity-based simulator, you will restore and enhance a vital educational resource. This role directly impacts our ability to provide practical, hands-on learning experiences to young individuals interested in film and television production. Your work will help ensure that these learners receive up-to-date and effective training, opening up opportunities for creative expression and professional development in the media industry.

Project 2 Motion Graphics expert

Out Motion graphics and captioning templates are terribly out of date. Your help and expert creativity in this area will be used across every one of the hundreds of masterclass videos we create.

As a volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the accessibility and effectiveness of our learning materials. Your contributions will help bridge the gap in media literacy, providing young individuals from underserved communities with the skills needed to excel in a digital and visually-oriented world.
